A Baroque palace from the mid-17th century in Kiełczyn near Dzierżoniów, with a park and an octagonal 19th-century pavilion.
Kiełczyn Palace is a Baroque residence from the mid-17th century, standing in Kiełczyn in the municipality of Dzierżoniów, south of the Kiełczyn Hills and south-west of Mount Ślęża, in the Dzierżoniów Valley.
The building was erected in the mid-17th century under the von Hund family. It was remodelled around 1730, and then again in 1860-1870, which gave it its present shape.
The palace forms part of a complex that includes a park from the mid-19th century, with an octagonal pavilion from the same period on its grounds.
The palace is entered in the heritage register of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship under number A/4244/767, with the entry dating from 30 September 1960. The available sources do not state who currently uses the building or what technical condition it is in - this is worth checking on site or with the Dzierżoniów municipal office before planning a visit.
