Kowadło, in Czech Kovadlina, is a peak in the southern part of the Złote Mountains, lying on the Polish-Czech border above the village of Bielice. Its dome-shaped summit reaches nearly 990 metres above sea level.
The dome-shaped summit of Kowadło is covered with young spruces, with gneiss rock outcrops poking out of the ground in places. These gave the mountain its German name, Schmiedekoppe.
From the summit, the Złote Mountains and the northern part of the Czech Hrubý Jeseník are visible, as well as the Sudeten Foothills. The view extends on both sides of the border.
Kowadło is on the list of peaks of the Crown of Polish Mountains and the Crown of Lower Silesian Mountains, two popular hiking challenges that involve reaching the listed summits.
In the Złote Mountains range, at a similar distance from Kowadło, are the peaks of Brusek and Iwinka. A few kilometres further away is the Śnieżna Białka Primeval Forest Nature Reserve.
