A Neo-Baroque palace from 1907 in the village of Kuchary in Oława County, with a neglected park on the Żórawka river, privately owned.
Kuchary Palace was built in 1907 in the Neo-Baroque style, in the village of Kuchary in the Domaniów municipality, in Oława County. It is one of two buildings of the same name in Lower Silesia, the other stands in Jaźwina in Dzierżoniów County, about 30 kilometres away, so it is worth remembering that this one refers to the village near Domaniów.
The building was erected at the beginning of the 20th century in Neo-Baroque forms, popular at the time for building landed-gentry residences in Lower Silesia. The palace is today privately owned.
Around the palace stretches a landscape park from the early 20th century, part of which belongs to the palace and part to the former state-owned estate. The Żórawka river flows through the park grounds. The complex also includes a manor farm with buildings dating from the mid-19th and 20th centuries. The park itself is today heavily neglected.
The palace complex was entered in the heritage register on 23 May 1989, and the park under a separate entry on 27 December 1984.
Nearby stand two other palaces in Borek Strzeliński, from 1840 and from 1790. Within a few kilometres are also Gostkowice Palace and Danielowice Palace.
