A neo-Renaissance palace of the Scheibler family from 1892, surrounded by a 31-hectare park, today closed to visitors.
Kwietno Palace is a 19th-century residence built between 1891 and 1892 on the order of the widow of Karol Scheibler, a Łódź industrialist. Today it stands on private land, fenced off and closed to visitors.
The building has a highly varied form with numerous turrets, avant-corps, bay windows, gables and arcades. It is built of face brick, with many stone-masonry details. The design is attributed to architect Karl Heidenreich, who also created the Schaffgotsch Palace in Wrocław.
The palace is surrounded by a landscape park covering 31 hectares, with a large pond, a grotto and an artificial ruin. The park also contains the Scheibler family tomb.
The grounds around the palace are fenced off, with no entry permitted, so the building can only be viewed from behind the fence. Between 2012 and 2013 the interiors were restored based on archival photographs from 1893.
In the same village, the Shooting Range in Kwietno operates.
A few kilometres away stand further manor residences of the region: Rachów Palace and Proszków Palace.
