About Lesieniec

A small, poorly exposed summit in the Śnieżnik Massif built of gneiss and covered by spruce forest, reachable by trails from Międzygórze.

Lesieniec is a small summit in the Śnieżnik Massif, right above Międzygórze, on the slope of the much higher Śnieżnik. It rises to 868 m above sea level and is poorly marked in the terrain, so it is easy to pass by without realising it is a separate summit.

Structure and vegetation

The hill is built of gneiss, and its slopes are covered by spruce forest. There are no rock formations or outcrops here - it is above all a forested ridge without a clear high point.

How to get there

Two marked hiking trails lead to Lesieniec: a green one starting from Międzygórze, and a blue one. The route is easy to combine with sightseeing in the area, for example the Wilczka Waterfall or the Fairy Tale Garden in Międzygórze, which lie right nearby.

Practical information

  • Location: Śnieżnik Massif, above Międzygórze, Kłodzko County
  • Getting there: the green and blue trails from Międzygórze
  • What to expect: a forested, poorly exposed summit with no viewpoints or tourist infrastructure
