Ligota Wielka Manor House

Ligota Wielka
About Ligota Wielka Manor House

A manor house from 1566 in Ligota Wielka near Niemcza, together with outbuildings, cowsheds, a granary and a landscape park.

The manor house in Ligota Wielka, in the Niemcza municipality, was built in 1566. It was renovated again in the 19th and 20th centuries, and together with the surrounding buildings forms an extensive manor complex.

Over four hundred years of history

The manor's construction is dated to 1566. The building underwent renovations in the 19th and 20th centuries, so its present form is the result of successive rebuilding rather than solely its 16th-century state.

An extensive manor complex

Adjoining the manor house are a residential outbuilding from the mid-19th century and a residential and farm outbuilding from the 19th century, as well as two cowsheds from the 19th century and a granary from the early 19th century. The whole is surrounded by a landscape park. It is one of the more complete surviving manor complexes in this part of Dzierżoniów County.

Condition and access

The sources do not state the current technical condition of the manor house or whether it is in use or open to visitors. This information needs to be checked on site or with the Niemcza municipal office.
