About Liściasta

A peak of the Rudawy Janowickie Mountains (755 m above sea level) between Leszczyniec and Szarocin, on the Main Sudetes Trail.

Liściasta is a peak in the south-eastern part of the Rudawy Janowickie Mountains, rising to 755 metres above sea level between Leszczyniec and Szarocin in Kamienna Góra County. The ridge runs south of Bukowa and separates the valleys of both villages, through which the Świdnik stream flows.

Geology and vegetation

The elevation is built of ancient quartzite-chlorite-albite schists and tuffites, belonging to the eastern envelope of Karkonosze granite. The slopes are covered by spruce forest with an admixture of beech and birch. The whole area lies within the Rudawy Landscape Park.

Hiking trails

The red Main Sudetes Trail runs through the area near the peak, linking Bukowiec with Lubawka via Rozdroże pod Bobrzakiem, Wilkowyja and Szarocin. Along the way you can drop by Skalnik or, in the other direction, the Colourful Lakelets. Sources do not describe a view from the summit of Liściasta.
