A branch of the Lower Silesian Pedagogical Library at the market square in Wałbrzych, with a book catalogue and access to the digital resources Ibuk Libra and Polona.
The Lower Silesian Pedagogical Library in Wrocław runs a branch in Wałbrzych at Rynek 6, right in the city centre.
The branch offers a book catalogue and electronic databases. Readers have access to the digital resources Ibuk Libra and Polona, and the library supports teachers and students with learning materials.
The library serves mainly teachers as well as pupils and students; using the lending section and reading room requires a library card.
The branch was established in 1953 from a book collection handed over by the Polish Teachers' Union and the County Education Department. Since 1999 it has operated within the structure of the Lower Silesian Pedagogical Library in Wrocław, and in 2023 it marked its seventieth anniversary.
