A square by a bend of the Oder in the Nadodrze neighbourhood in Wrocław, commemorating the physicist Max Born.
Maksa Borna Square lies in the centre of Wrocław, in the Nadodrze neighbourhood, in a bend of the Oder. The river borders it to the west and south, and the square's name commemorates the German physicist and Nobel laureate Max Born.
The square occupies an area set into a bend of the Oder, with the river to the west and south. To the north it borders Dubois and Mieszczańska streets, and the only street opening directly onto the square is Wojciecha Cybulskiego. On the eastern side the square is closed off by buildings: a clinic and a residential block with an entrance from Cybulskiego.
The surface of the square is granite cobblestone, with part of the area covered by lawns. It is an open, mostly undeveloped space by the river, adjoining the buildings of Nadodrze.
