A historic manor house in Ślęza with a Gothic tower from the 14th-15th century, today operating as the five-star Zamek Topacz resort hotel.
The Manor House in Ślęza, also known as Zamek Topacz (formerly German: Schloss Lohe), is a historic residence in the village of Ślęza, bordering Wrocław.
The manor house was built in the 14th-15th century, originally in the form of a medieval, Gothic knight's residential tower. In 1618 it was rebuilt, with a southern wing added in the Renaissance style. Between 1857 and 1889 a Baroque wing was added on the north side, which was demolished after 1974.
According to the venue's website, the complex today operates as a five-star resort hotel. Accommodation is offered in the castle itself and in the farm buildings, the Steward's House, the Granary, the Stable, the Annex and the Gardener's Cottage. On site there is the Dom Wierzynka restaurant and an Art SPA and Wellness zone with pools. The complex also has conference and wedding halls, tennis courts, a golf driving range, a historic park and a motoring museum with a collection of vintage cars.
