The library in Lubań at Rynek-Ratusz runs robotics and 3D printing activities and the ManuKultura craft group.
The Maria Konopnicka Municipal and County Public Library in Lubań is based at Rynek-Ratusz, right in the centre of town. It is a large network with many branches, which, besides classic book lending, runs robotics and 3D printing activities and a craft group.
The library organises free robotics and 3D printing activities, held every two weeks. This is an offer that goes beyond the standard scope of a municipal library and attracts children interested in technology, not just literature.
The ManuKultura group operates at the institution, bringing together people who do crochet, embroidery and knitting. The library also runs theatre-education workshops, author meetings and history-themed events, such as festivals and survival weekends.
Readers have access to e-books and audiobooks through the Legimi platform and the Lubań Digital Library. The offer also includes board games, audiobooks on CD and the "Czytak Will Read You a Book" service, that is, audio recordings for the visually impaired.
