A road bridge from 1970 over the Ślęza river in the Maślice district, built on the site of a crossing known since the 12th century.
Maślice Bridge is a road crossing over the Ślęza river in Wrocław, leading into the Maślice district.
The first written mentions of a crossing at this site date back to the 12th century. In 1896 a steel bridge in the Schwedler system was built here, with lattice spans with a parabolic upper chord, resting on massive abutments. This bridge was destroyed during the siege of Wrocław in 1945. After the war, a provisional two-span wooden bridge with steel girders served here for a time.
In 1970 the provisional bridge was replaced by a three-span beam bridge, whose load-bearing structure was made of typical prefabricated prestressed concrete beams. Four municipal bus lines run over the bridge: 101, 102, 103 and 104.
