Municipal Public Library in Długołęka

The Municipal Public Library in Długołęka is headquartered on Słoneczna Street 55. It is the hub of a network covering eight branches in the municipality: besides Długołęka, branches operate in Kiełczów, Łozina, Borowa Oleśnicka, Brzezia Łąka, Pasikurowice, Dobroszów and Mirków.

Programmes for readers

The branch runs the "Train to Reading" programme, held every year during Library Week, and the "Wandering Library" initiative aimed at families with small children - under this scheme a backpack with five books for children and one for an adult can be borrowed for five days. The library also runs book discussion clubs and organises meetings with authors.
