Municipal Public Library in Kamienna Góra

The Municipal Public Library in Kamienna Góra is located at Tadeusza Kościuszki 4. Besides a classic lending service, it runs several ongoing projects aimed at specific groups of readers, from parents of young children to fans of discussing books.

Mums' Club

Mums' Club is a series of regular meetings for mothers, who find in the library a space for conversation, sharing experiences and a moment away from everyday life. This is one of the projects that sets the institution apart from other Lower Silesian municipal libraries.

PSYCHOteka and the Book Discussion Club

PSYCHOteka is a separate collection of books on psychology, available as part of the library's holdings. People who prefer talking about the books they have read rather than reading alone can join the Book Discussion Club, which meets regularly at the institution.

Summer Reading and digital resources

During the summer holidays the library runs a series of "Summer Reading" meetings, in which readers have discussed, among other titles, Joanna Bator's "Piaskowa Góra". Besides paper books, the institution offers the IBUK Libra platform, that is, access to e-books and academic publications online.
