Municipal Public Library in Kąty Wrocławskie

The Municipal Public Library in Kąty Wrocławskie is located at Rynek 2 and is a unit of the Municipal Centre of Culture and Sport. It is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in Wrocław County.

History

The library was established at the turn of 1946 and 1947 on the initiative of local community activist Stanisław Cisło and was the first public library in Wrocław County. In 1949 its branch in Gniechowice was set up.

What's on offer

The institution runs library lessons for preschoolers, regular activities and holiday workshops, as well as meetings and cultural events for the municipality's residents. The collection catalogue is available online. The library also has a branch in Smolec.
