About Nowa Ruda Municipal Public Library

The Nowa Ruda Municipal Public Library at ul. Bohaterów Getta 10, operating since 1949 in a former brewery building from around 1880.

Nowa Ruda Municipal Public Library has operated since 1949 and is based at ul. Bohaterów Getta 10. The building in which it is housed was built around 1880 as a former brewery - one of the few industrial buildings in the town that today, after conversion, serve a cultural institution.

Three branches in the town

Besides its main seat, the library runs three branches: No. 1, No. 3 intended for adult readers, and No. 4 aimed at children and young people. This division allows the offer for the youngest to be kept separate from the collection for older readers.

Opening hours

The main building is open from Monday to Wednesday and on Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, on Thursdays from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Before visiting it is worth checking the current schedule on the library's website, especially if planning a trip to one of the branches.
