About Oporów Bridge

A road bridge from 1967 over the Ślęza river, connecting Oporów with Grabiszyn, with a tram loop for lines 4, 11 and 20.

Oporów Bridge is a road crossing over the Ślęza river, connecting the Wrocław districts of Oporów and Grabiszyn along Grabiszyńska and Solskiego streets.

Structure

The bridge was built in 1967. Its structure has two spans, with freely supported beams working together with a reinforced concrete slab as the load-bearing elements. The total length of the bridge is 28.55 metres, its width 11 metres, of which 7 metres is the roadway, with footpaths 2 metres wide running along each side.

Oporów tram loop

Right next to the bridge is the "Oporów" tram loop, serving lines 4, 11 and 20. For most people this is the only reason to pay any attention to this crossing, beyond simply driving or walking across to the other bank of the Ślęza.
