An active Greek Catholic church in Przemków, built in 1996-2003 in a style drawing on Lemko tradition.
The Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Przemków is an active Greek Catholic church, standing on Plac Kościelny (Church Square) in Przemków, in Lower Silesia.
The building was constructed in 1996-2003 to a design by Jacek Mermon. Its architecture draws on the tradition of Lemko churches from the Low Beskids, where part of the parish community originally came from. Inside is a modern, open iconostasis.
The Greek Catholic parish in Przemków was established in 1958. It belongs to the Eparchy of Wrocław-Koszalin and the Zielona Góra deanery. Construction of the church and presbytery was overseen by parish priest Bogdan Miszczyszyn.
The church stands on Plac Kościelny (Church Square), which, according to the source, is the only square with this name in what are described as the Recovered Territories.
