A 15th-century Gothic church, rebuilt in the Renaissance style in 1564, formerly a Lutheran church, today a filial church of the parish in Stobno, entered in the heritage register.
Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Mojęcice is a Gothic fieldstone church, today a filial church of the parish in Stobno, although for centuries it served a completely different denomination.
The church was built in the second half of the 15th century in the Gothic style, from erratic boulders, as a single-nave building. In 1564 it was rebuilt in the Renaissance spirit, and the façade was decorated with sgraffito. The tower was added later, in 1594.
From the 16th century until 1945, the church served as a Lutheran parish church, serving around 1,500 faithful from seven neighbouring villages. Only after the war, in 1945, did it pass into the hands of the Catholic Church and become a filial church of the parish of St Nicholas and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stobno.
Inside stand Renaissance stone epitaphs of the von Stosch family, who died in 1586-1587, and a wooden sculpture of St Anne from around 1500. In 1966 fragments of 16th-century polychrome were discovered on the walls.
The church was entered in the heritage register on 14 September 1957 under number A/2662/445. It is one of several historic sites in Mojęcice - the same village also has a historic manor complex.
