Park Skowroni

Park Skowroni lies in the southern part of Wrocław, in the Gaj neighbourhood. It covers an area of around 25 hectares, making it one of the larger green spaces in this part of the city.

Change of name

The park was previously named Park XXX-lecia PRL. Its current name has been in use since 1993, based on a resolution of the Wrocław City Council concerning the names of parks and forest land.

Management of the site

The park is maintained by the Wrocław Municipal Greenery Authority, the same institution that manages other green spaces in the city.

Practical information

• The park lies in the Gaj neighbourhood, in the southern part of Wrocław.
• The park covers around 25 ha, so it's worth setting aside more time for a walk than in smaller squares.
• Nearby, less than a kilometre away, is the Old Jewish Cemetery.
• A little further, towards the city centre, is Aquapark Wrocław.
