A cone-shaped elevation at 695 m above sea level in the Śnieżnik Massif, a lateral ridge above the village of Goworów, within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park.
Pątnik is a cone-shaped elevation rising above the village of Goworów, forming a lateral ridge of the Śnieżnik Massif in the Sudetes. It is 695 metres high and lies within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park.
The summit is built of gneiss rocks belonging to the Lądek-Śnieżnik metamorphic complex. The slopes of Pątnik fall towards the Goworówka valley and the Upper Nysa Valley.
The slopes are covered with spruce forests of the lower montane zone, typical for this altitude in the Sudetes.
In German-language sources the summit appeared under the names Wendlerberg, Franzensberg and Franzenshöhe.
The region is one of the popular hiking destinations of the Śnieżnik Massif. Nearby lie, among others, the Wilczka Waterfall, the summit of Mały Śnieżnik, and the observation tower on Trójmorski Wierch.
