A dome-shaped peak of the Silesian Ridge in the Karkonosze Mountains (1068 m above sea level) with the Owcze Skały and Skalna Brama rock groups.
Przedział is a peak in the Karkonosze Mountains, in the Silesian Ridge, rising to 1068 m above sea level above Szklarska Poręba. It is a prominent, dome-shaped summit on a side ridge branching off from Mumlawski Wierch towards the north, built of Karkonosze granite.
The ridge on which Przedział lies continues west and ends at Babiniec. To the east the peak descends into the deep valley of the Kamieńczyk, where a stream flows that forms the Kamieńczyk Waterfall, and to the north into the valley of the Kamienna. Two small tributaries, the Owczy Potok and the Kulik, flow into the Kamienna here, while to the west lies the broad, wet and peaty valley of the upper Kamienna.
Several rock groups can be found on the ridge leading towards Babiniec. Just beyond Rozdroże pod Przedziałem lies the Owcze Skały group, and on a parallel, short side ridge the Skalna Brama, as well as another cluster of rocks on the slope. The whole massif is covered by forest.
