A road bridge from 1928 over the Oława river, built from a riveted truss relocated from a bridge over the Miejski Canal from 1904.
Rakowiec Bridge is a road crossing over the Oława river, along Na Niskich Łąkach street, connecting Przedmieście Oławskie on the left bank with Rakowiec on the right bank of the river.
The bridge itself was built in 1928, but its main structural elements were made earlier, in 1904, for a different crossing: a bridge over the Miejski Canal, known today as the Warszawskie Bridges (western bridge). Years later they were dismantled, transported and reassembled as the load-bearing structure of Rakowiec Bridge.
The structure is a single span with two main girders in the form of trusses with parallel upper and lower chords, built using riveted technology, with the roadway running through the bottom. The deck rests on concrete abutments, and the roadway surface is made of granite setts. The total length of the bridge is 27.6 metres, its width 15.66 metres, of which 8.05 metres is the roadway between the girders, and 2 metres each for the two footpaths.
