About Ryczeń Palace

18th-century palace in Ryczeń in the Góra municipality, today standing in ruins.

Ryczeń Palace was built in the 18th century, in the village of Ryczeń, in the Góra municipality, in Góra County. It is one of the few palaces in the region for which sources directly state the present condition: the building is a ruin.

A ruin under conservation protection

Despite its poor technical condition, the palace remains listed in the heritage register under number A/3620/774, entered on 5 October 1960, one of the oldest entries among the palaces of the Góra region. Sources do not state since when the building has stood abandoned, or what led to its destruction.

What is not known

There is no confirmed data on the architectural style, the owners of the palace, or any park that may have surrounded it. The present owner of the plot is also unknown. Given the ruined condition, entering the interior is not advisable.
