The Marksmen's Brotherhood of the Jelenia Góra Region was registered on 31 July 2012, with its headquarters on Poznańska Street in Jelenia Góra. The organisation runs courses preparing members for the firearms licence exam and organises shooting competitions, including an annual tournament for the title of Marksmen's King.

The range itself

The shooting facility is located on Lubańska Street, in the form of a 50-metre shooting lane with eight positions and a pavilion. The brotherhood's website does not state directly whether people without a firearms licence can use the facility as guests - access conditions for non-members need to be arranged directly with the brotherhood before a visit.

Nearby

A few kilometres from the range, towards Cieplice, lie the Norwegian Park in Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój and the Cieplice Thermal Baths. A little further, towards the mountains, stands Chojnik Castle, and in Jelenia Góra itself you can see the Castle Gate Tower.
