Słoneczna Kopa

Słoneczna Kopa (German: Sonnenkoppe) is a summit 713 metres above sea level in the Suche Mountains, in the western part of the Kamienne Mountains, in the Central Sudetes. The Polish-Czech border runs right across the summit.

A summit on the border

On the Czech side the slopes are covered with spruce forest, while on the Polish side fields and meadows stretch out. This contrast in landscape is a direct result of the state border running along the line of the ridge.

Border trail

A green border trail runs across the summit, following the border from Tłumaczów to the Okraj Pass. It is the only marked trail reaching the top of Słoneczna Kopa.
