Smrekowiec

Smrekowiec is a mountain 1123 metres above sea level in the Śnieżnik Massif in the Sudetes, lying within the Śnieżnik Landscape Park. In the past, in German times, it was called Heuboden or Heuberg. The Śnieżnik Massif is one of the higher ranges of the Sudetes, and the landscape park covering its area protects the local nature and landscape.

Practical information

• The summit is located near Międzygórze, in Kłodzko County.
• It lies next to other points of the Śnieżnik Massif, including Śnieżnik and Jaworowa Kopa.
• Nearby it is also worth seeing the Bear Cave and the Wilczka Waterfall.
• The route and the state of the trails are best checked before setting out, as the sources do not give details of the waymarking or the starting point.
• As the site lies within a landscape park, nature protection rules may apply there, and these too are worth checking before setting out.
