Średniak is a peak in the Karkonosze, 843 m above sea level, lying within the Grzbiet Lasocki (Lasocki Ridge), in a short side spur running east from Łysocina. It is located near the village of Jarkowice in Kamienna Góra County.
To the north, from Borowa Góra and Bielec, it is bordered by the Biała Woda valley, and to the south by the valley of an unnamed stream, a tributary of the Srebrnik. Both valleys are deeply incised and have steep slopes.
The peak is built of metamorphic rocks of the eastern cover of the Karkonosze granite, mainly mica schists. The summit and slopes are covered with upper-montane spruce forest.
