A Neo-Romanesque parish church from 1904 in Ścinawka Dolna, with a late Gothic triptych and a Gothic sculpture of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Church of St James the Apostle in Ścinawka Dolna is a Neo-Romanesque parish church in Kłodzko County, built in the early 20th century.
The first, wooden church on this site was mentioned as early as 1322. In 1530 it was replaced by a brick building. The present church was built between 1900 and 1904 and consecrated on 1 October 1904.
The church was built in the Neo-Romanesque style, on a rectangular plan, with a single nave and a massive tower topped with a pyramidal spire. A ridge turret stands at the crossing of the nave and transept.
The interior has preserved fragments of a late Gothic triptych from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, as well as a Gothic, polychrome sculpture of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church also holds several 19th-century figures with folk-art features.
