A modern two-level church in Huby, built between 1984 and 2006 on the site of the former Evangelical Methodist Christuskirche chapel.
St Stanislaus Kostka's Church in Wrocław is a modern, two-level church in the Huby estate, on Hubska street, designed by Stefan and Maria Müller.
Before the present church, the same site held the Evangelical Methodist Christuskirche chapel. Its solemn dedication took place on 7 November 1937. After the war, on 9 July 1945, the Soviet command handed the building over to the Catholic Church.
Construction of the present church began in September 1984. The lower church was adapted for worship as early as 1987, and in the following years a choir, chapels of Our Lady and St Stanislaus Kostka, a sacristy and a 22-metre tower were added. In 1997 the church, chapels and sacristy were covered with zinc sheeting, and in 2000 the building was glazed. Archbishop Marian Gołębiewski consecrated the complete church on 17 September 2006.
Since 2010 the church has hosted the Summer Festival of Sacred Music. Exact Mass times do not come from the parish's official website, so it's worth checking them directly with the parish before a visit. Nearby, within less than two kilometres, are Aquapark Wrocław and the Old Jewish Cemetery in Wrocław, among others.
