A wood-and-glass footbridge from 2009 over the city moat in Wrocław, connecting Orląt Lwowskich Square with the Promenada Staromiejska.
The footbridge connecting Orląt Lwowskich Square with the Promenada Staromiejska was built in 2009 and originally operated under the unofficial name Świebodzka. Since 2015 it has officially been named Radiowej Trójki, although some Wrocław residents still use its former name.
The crossing runs over the former city moat, connecting Orląt Lwowskich Square with the section of the Promenada Staromiejska known as Bulwar Tadka Jasińskiego, and from there on to Pawła Włodkowica Street. The footbridge is 43.6 metres long and 3.8 metres wide, and is open to pedestrians and cyclists.
The girders and crossbeams are made of glued laminated timber, and the balustrades of tempered glass set in wooden handrails. In the evening the crossing is lit up by a special illumination. The design was prepared by architect Tomasz Boniecki.
From here it is only a few hundred metres to the National Forum of Music and the Town Hall.
