A group of granite rocks in the Karkonosze Foothills in the village of Przesieka.
Waloński Kamień (Walloon Stone) is a group of granite rocks in the Karkonosze Foothills, in the village of Przesieka, at the foot of the northern slopes of the hill Płonik.
These are several granite boulders of various sizes, over 2 metres in height. On the southern face of one of them there are two connected weathering pits, which ended up on the side of the rock block after it toppled over. In shape and size they resemble a human silhouette, hence the German name of the rock, Mannstein.
The rock appeared in descriptions contained in the 15th-century Walloon Books as an important landmark, which is why the carvings on its surface are attributed to the Walloons, 15th- and 16th-century prospectors for gold and precious stones.
