A summit 749 m above sea level on the Polish-Czech border in the Suche Mountains, with meadows on the Polish side and original forests on the Czech side.
Wysoka is a summit 749 metres above sea level, lying on the Polish-Czech border in the Central Sudetes, in the Kamienne Mountains, in the eastern part of the Suche Mountains range.
The state border between Poland and the Czech Republic runs across the top of Wysoka. The summit lies south-west of Krajanów; on the Czech side it is called Vysoká, and in historical German sources it appeared as Erber Koppe or Schulzen Berg. The Czech, south-western part of the hill lies within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area.
The hill is built of Permian extrusive rocks - melaphyres, also called trachybasalts - cut through by a vein of quartz porphyry. The upper parts are covered by lower-montane spruce forest. On the Polish side, meadows reach high up almost to the summit itself, while on the Czech side forests of a more original character have survived - Sudetic beech woods and acidic montane beech woods.
