A mountain in the Bystrzyckie Mountains, 597 m above sea level, with the ruins of a lime kiln and traces of a former quarry on its slopes.
Żeleźnia is a mountain 597 metres above sea level, lying in the Bystrzyckie Mountains, in the Central Sudetes, in the south-eastern part of the ridge.
It is built of metamorphic crystalline schists, and its summit rises about 7 metres above a syncline on the western slope. The western slopes, nearly flat, are covered by a wide mountain meadow, the northern slope is similarly gentle, while the eastern slope is steep. The remaining slopes are covered by lower montane spruce forest with an admixture of deciduous trees. On the western slope there once stood the settlement of Hirschenhauser, and on the north-eastern slope, by the provincial road, the ruins of a lime kiln have survived. Workings from a former quarry are also visible on the northern slope.
