A Classic Comedy of Errors

“Nuns in Disguise” (original title: “Drinking habbits”) by Tom Smith is a farce about secrets, misunderstandings, and comic coincidences. The production is directed by Wojciech Błach.

The action takes place in a convent. Two nuns want to save the institution from financial ruin and closure, so they secretly produce and sell wine. Their peace is shattered by a visit from journalists who suspect that something shady is going on behind the convent walls. At the same time, a young woman joins the community in search of her past, which complicates matters even further.

Further mistakes, disguises, and an growing number of lies lead to an avalanche of funny events and unexpected plot twists. The show is a classic comedy of errors. The organizers note that the similarity of the title to that of a film is coincidental.
