“A Recipe for Christmas” is a film set just before Christmas. The lead roles are played by Zofia Jastrzębska (Ida), Piotr Stramowski (Piotr) and Sonia Mietielica (Klara). The screening takes place on 7 November 2026 at 5:30 PM at Kino Astra (Sala Kinowa) in Oborniki Śląskie.
Ida is a young woman who loves baking cakes and cookies and dreams of owning her own pastry shop. At the bank, she meets Piotr, a director who is fascinated by her sense of humor and uncompromising nature. But this is not the only new relationship in Piotr's life. He has only now learned that he has a 10-year-old son, Nikodem.
The boy's arrival is a challenge for Piotr, who is focused on his career, and for his moody partner Klara. Both need help with household duties, and Ida responds to their advertisement. In this unexpected situation, amid the scent of festive baking, feelings come to the fore, and true love proves to be the greatest gift.
