“Dobrze się kłamie” – an astronomically funny play about human relationships

“Dobrze się kłamie” is a stage play based on Paolo Genovese's film, billed as a cinema hit brought to the theatre. The comedy explores complicated interpersonal relationships. The adaptation is by Bartosz Wierzbięta, and the director is Marcin Hycnar.

Friends sit down at a table and start a game: each must share the contents of their phone with the others. An ordinary evening becomes a test of friendship. Text messages and Facebook notifications are read aloud. It turns out who has serious lies on their account, and who is only a little “fibbing.” For some it will work out for the best, others will come undone.
