Don Vasyl and Ensemble - 55th Anniversary

“From Czardas to Hit” is a jubilee, nostalgic concert by Don Vasyl with his Family Ensemble. The stage will also feature dancers in sequined and lace Gypsy dresses. The program includes the singer's biggest hits, including:

• “Jedno jest niebo dla wszystkich”
• “Tańcz ze mną moje życie”
• “Ja już wygrałem”

Don Vasyl's grandchildren will play violin, accordion and guitar, performing festive Gypsy hits, including:

• “Ore, Ore”
• “Zagraj mi piękny cyganie”
• “My cyganie”
• “Znałem cyganeczkę Zosię”

The repertoire will also include the artist's latest compositions from his newest album.

The Don Vasyl i Roma Artistic Ensemble was formed in 1987. The name “Roma” comes from the fact that the core of the ensemble consists of members of the group Roma. That group toured extensively around the world, including performances at the UN headquarters in New York and at the “Paryska Olimpia” in Paris. Over time, Don Vasyl discovered and promoted artists such as Dziani, Wasyl Junior, Elza, Patrycja, Carmen, Tobi and many others. The ensemble was then renamed Don Vasyl and Cygańskie Gwiazdy (Gypsy Stars) and continues to nurture the artistic traditions of Roma.

Practical information: the concert lasts 90 minutes.
