The artists have prepared a program that delights with beautiful guitar arrangements, delicate piano sound, and atmospheric backing vocals, giving Cohen's songs a classic, original depth. The most beautiful songs in Polish include “Alleluja,” “Dance Me to the End of Love,” “In My Secret Life,” and “I'm Your Man.” Professional performance: years of musical experience, a carefully prepared repertoire, and high-quality sound. The concert features Wrocław musicians forming the band Yanistan, acclaimed singer-songwriters including: Janusz Kasprowicz, leader of Projekt Volodia, with hundreds of concerts on major stages across the country, eight released albums, and collaborations with many acclaimed artists, including the outstanding actors Mirosław Baka and Stanisław Górka. A cultural animator, he is the founder and director of festivals including the Włodzimierz Wysocki festival “Wołodia pod Szczelińcem,” the Wrocław festival “Pieśniarze Niepokorni,” and “Lwowskie Dni we Wrocławiu,” and artistic director of concerts such as the recurring “Night of Bards” at the Three Cultures Festival in Włodawa. He was awarded the international “Kielich Pokoju” medal by the Miera Kauss Association. The other member of the Yanistan duo is Stanisław Marinczenko, a “versatile” multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, accordion, mandolin, harp...) active in many genres. Besides literary song, his playing can be heard in Irish styles. The duo is joined by the excellent musician Bogdan Bińczak, rooted in traditional jazz.
