Forgotten Island

This is an adventure comedy that takes its characters to a long-forgotten, magical island. It's worth fighting for the best friendship. DreamWorks Animation, the studio behind the unforgettable bonds between a boy and a dragon in “How to Train Your Dragon,” an ogre and a donkey in “Shrek,” and a robot and a gosling in “The Wild Robot,” now presents a dazzling and moving story about two lifelong friends who must come together. The new film is written and directed by Oscar® nominees Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, and produced by Oscar® nominee Mark Swift, producer of “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.” Grammy and Oscar® winner H.E.R. and Liza Soberano voice Jo and Raissa, best friends since childhood who are just finishing high school and standing on the threshold of entirely new stages of life. During a celebration on their last evening before parting, the girls accidentally discover a mysterious portal that transports them to the magical island of Nakali. It is an extraordinary land full of fantastic and mythical creatures they have heard about since childhood in stories passed down by their Filipino families. Some of these creatures will become friends, others enemies. Jo and Raissa must face the most dangerous creature on the island. When they discover that the memories of their friendship are the price of returning home, Jo and Raissa will race to find a way off the island before they forget each other forever.
