The Mystic

The Mystic is a film inspired by true events. It tells the story of Alicja Lenczewska, a woman who followed the call of her heart and crossed the boundary of what was familiar. The lead role is played by Dorota Chotecka-Pazura.

For years, Alicja Lenczewska led a dynamic life. She belonged to the Communist Party and worked as a teacher, demanding, responsible, and devoted to her work. She loved traveling abroad. Her future seemed settled until a single encounter changed everything.

Despite the skepticism of those around her and her own doubts, the protagonist embarks on a path of profound spiritual life. She describes experiences beyond material reality in mystical notes. Over time, these reach thousands of people seeking answers to questions about love, suffering, faith, and the meaning of life.

The film combines an intimate portrait of one woman with a story about loneliness, courage, and the need to find light even in the most difficult moments. It is an offering for viewers who want to pause and reflect on these questions.
