“Klimakterium... i już” is a play by Elżbieta Jodłowska about women in their forties. It shows that this stage of life doesn't have to be sad, difficult or boring. Four heroines take the stage: Pamela, Malina, Krycha and Zosia.
The heroines face common problems: loneliness, lack of love, betrayal and domestic disasters where a man's help would come in handy. Many of their difficulties stem from their age, but the characters' attitude toward adversity is meant to be a role model for every mature woman. Good spirits, self-acceptance and humour help them get through menopause so that they can look back on this time fondly.
The show combines acting with music. It features songs written to popular, well-loved tunes, accompanied by humorous choreography performed by the heroines.
