LA BOMBE – a hot show with a star-studded cast

“La Bombe” is a comedy by Carole Greep, translated by Beata Geppert and directed by Sambor Czarnota. The production is by the IDEA ART Artists' Agency. The action takes place during summer holidays in Corsica. Caroline and Stéphane have been married for twelve years and have three children. They travel to their holiday home in Corsica determined to fall in love with each other again after the birth of their youngest child. The task proves difficult. Characters: - Caroline suffers from “postpartum” depression. She feels disgust toward herself and aversion to those around her, and an irrational jealousy develops. - Stéphane is a frustrated psychologist. He understands the seriousness of the situation, anticipates events, and out of concern for his wife hires a nanny for the holidays. - Alban is a family friend and a fervent runner, recently abandoned by his wife. He embodies all of Caroline's fears. - Sam is the nanny, chosen for her motivation and bilingualism. She travels from London to Bastia, has a sexy accent, and hides a secret. With her arrival, the atmosphere heats up: Stéphane and Alban get steamed up, and Caroline overheats. Cast (alternating): - Caroline: Anna Czartoryska-Niemczycka / Sylwia Juszczak-Krawczyk - Sam: Karolina Sawka / Maria Wieczorek / Marta Maria Wiśniewska / Delfina Wilkońska / Aleksandra Kasperek - Stephane: Sambor Czarnota / Radosław Pazura - Alban: Wojciech Błach / Michał Rolnicki Set design by Witold Stefaniak, costumes by Aneta Suskiewicz. The show can be seen at Miejski Ośrodek Kultury i Sztuki w Bielawie.
