Apparently everyone needs therapy, though not everyone knows it. The play “The Phantom in the Sanatorium, or Nothing Serious” is a pretext for meeting the audience in a theatre dressing room. Deftly moving between reality and fiction, the actresses blur the boundaries of the traditional box-set stage, surprising viewers by letting theatrical spaces overlap.
The creators respond to the need of broad audiences for a moment of breath and joy, so precious in today's difficult times. Their work centres on the healing power of laughter, one of the best antidotes to sadness and stress. It nourishes both spirit and body. Following this path, the actresses have built everything around a unique therapy of light, pleasant art with high literary value. Using grotesque, pastiche and clever irony, they draw viewers into the fun, revealing the secrets of the actor's craft and the process of creating a theatre performance. Drawing on the gems of the greatest Polish masters of light verse and literature, they offer audiences a genuine, therapeutic session of gelotherapy.

Teatr Jedyny Taki was founded in May 2021, inspired by the moment when, after more than a year of closures of cultural institutions due to the pandemic, society was hungrier than ever for art, human presence, and an atmosphere of lightness, smiles, positive energy and a good dose of humour. The company is made up of Poznań actresses Anna Biniak and Izabella Tarasiuk-Andrzejewska, who bring their many years of experience from various artistic settings. They have been performing together for several years on the stage of Mojego Teatru in Poznań in “Nago w kisielu” by Marek Zgaiński.
