Liszt Evening – Concert

The next concert in the Liszt Evenings series, organized by the Ferenc Liszt Society, will take place on 23 November 2026 at 18:00 at the Ośrodek Współpracy Europejskiej “Odra” (Hall No. 1) in Oława. The evening will be hosted by Juliusz Adamowski, and Berlin-based pianist and composer Tomasz Kamieniak will perform for the Oława audience. The highlight of the programme will be two rediscovered works: - Étude for the Left Hand by Józef Wieniawski - “Angel of Death” by Franz Liszt “Angel of Death” belongs to the late period of Liszt's output. It opens with ominous, dark chords before moving into deep contemplation in E major, a key considered characteristic of the composer's religious music.
