“Lie, Spin and Kneel” is a comedy of errors directed by Tomasz Dutkiewicz. The play follows an attempt to turn a life disaster to one's own advantage, in which a disguise as a nun plays a key role.
Tom and Bill are two unlucky brothers who keep getting into trouble. They learn of the death of their wealthy grandfather, and his entire fortune is to go to their cousin, who is a nun. Tom is also deep in debt to a dangerous gangster. The brothers come up with a plan to kidnap their cousin and impersonate her in order to claim the inheritance. According to the announcement, the plan built on a lie fails in every way.
The organizers describe the play as a farce full of plot twists. They compare the humor to “Dumb and Dumber” and the twists to those in Tarantino films. The characters resemble sappers without a map, yet they come out of every predicament unscathed (sometimes).
Cast:
A proposition for fans of farce and situations where everything goes wrong.
