LOS VIVANCOS - Extreme Flamenco with a Rock Beat

Los Vivancos are seven brothers from Spain: Elías, Judah, Josua, Cristo, Israel, Aarón and Josué. Their performances blend flamenco with classical ballet, tap dance, martial arts and acrobatics. In Wrocław they will present the show “Born to Dance” (“Nacidos para bailar”), described as extreme flamenco with a rock and symphonic music beat. The music ranges from Metallica and Deep Purple to Leonard Cohen. The stage will feature: - synchronized dance, - fast footwork, - displays of strength, - live music: the brothers play violin, cello, flute and guitar, among other instruments. The Vivancos brothers have performed in more than 35 countries before over a million spectators. Israel Vivancos holds a Guinness World Record for 1,317 flamenco strikes in one minute. Daniele Finzi Pasca, director of Cirque du Soleil's “Corteo,” and composer Fernando Velázquez collaborated on “Born to Dance.” The music was recorded with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra. The show combines the energy of a rock concert, the precision of ballet and the passion of flamenco, with plenty of humor. It is aimed at people who love dance and live music.
