“Najbliżsi” (“La Famille”)

“Najbliżsi” (“La Famille”) is a comedy by Samuel Benchetrit, directed by Tomasz Sapryk. The play follows a family dinner that was meant to pass in a pleasant atmosphere. Around the table gather long-separated brothers and parents who prefer not to notice the problems.

The apparent calm ends after one unexpected request. Old grievances, hidden resentments and uncomfortable truths come to light, and the gathering turns into a confrontation full of surprising twists. The author describes it as a comedy about love, jealousy, family secrets and bonds that cannot be broken.
