The heroine of the play is Marzena, whose longtime partner tells her on her thirty-ninth birthday that he is leaving. Her world falls apart, but she immediately receives support from her younger sister, Danka.
Danka, a go-getting student, is always up to date on romance and knows how to have a good time. She takes Marzena to a “men’s store”. Marzena’s life changes dramatically, and more and more interesting men appear around her. The play asks whether one can start over at almost forty, whether Krzysztof will come back, and whether Marzena will find the new love she longs for.
