Our Revolution

“Our Revolution” is a film about Jacek and Grażyna Kuroń, a married couple convinced that together they can change the world. Jacek is portrayed as lively, loud, and charismatic, and Grażyna as brave, gentle, and full of warmth. The two are boundlessly in love. The Kuroń couple give up their privacy to devote their lives to the fight for freedom. Their apartment becomes the “headquarters” of the opposition and a meeting place for people ready to risk everything for a better tomorrow. The great cause, however, comes at a price: moments of intense intimacy alternate with years of separation, when prison bars divide the spouses. The outbreak of martial law forces them to make decisions no one would want to make. The film asks whether love can triumph in such difficult times. The screening takes place on 11 November 2026 at 8:15 PM at Kino Lot in Jelenia Góra.
